	US says retaining interest in cooperation with Russia

U.S. retains interest in cooperation with Russia in the strengthening of strategic stability and security, and the drafting of a traditional report to the two countries’ presidents on the issue continues, Paula DeSutter, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Verification and Compliance told a news briefing Wednesday.

She admitted however that complications have emerged in this sphere, too, after the recent events in and around Georgia.
