London comes out for development of relations with Russia
London comes out against Russia's isolation at an international level, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband declared in Brussels on Tuesday before an emergency meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member states devoted to South Ossetia.

Miliband said he believed that Russia’s isolation was a bad answer. On the contrary, London comes out for development of the relations, he said. If Georgia wants to become a NATO member, it should be given this chance, Miliband noted.

Earlier, Miliband had declared in an article published by the

Times on Tuesday that Great Britain does not support Russia’s expulsion from G-8. Moreover, London welcomes G-8 enlargement at the expense of other states, he said.

In a separate statement, Miliband declared that London would welcome Russia’s accession to WTO if Russia followed the rules.
