Russia marks the day of its airborne troops
Russia will mark the day of its airborne troops on Saturday, August 2. About 4,000 policemen and interior troops will guard law and order during the celebrations in Moscow.

“In keeping with an old tradition, paratroopers will gather in city parks and squares to mark their professional holiday,” Yevgeny Gildeyev, the deputy chief of the information and public relations unit of the Moscow main interior department, told Itar-Tass that police would tighten up security measures to ensure that the holiday passes without any incidents,” he said.
