Three militants killed in special operation in Makhachkala
During a special operation to neutralize members of illegal armed groups in Makhachkala, three militants, including one woman, were destroyed.

As ITAR-TASS learnt at the law enforcement bodies of the republic, “gunmen were blocked in a flat on the fourth floor of multi-storey building No 90A in Akushinsky Avenue on Friday.

According to the law enforcement bodies, all the gunmen were destroyed in a skirmish.

According to him, “this is a resident of Makhachkala Rashid Gazilaliyev, 29, his wife, a resident of Dagestan’s city of Kizlyar Sevda Abdulayeva, as well as young man Shamil.” “According to witnesses living in the house, when the blocked gunmen were offered to surrender, the woman together with the men opened aimed fire at law enforcers,” Tolchinsky said.

According to the preliminary information, there are no victims among the OMON, Interior Ministry and Federal Security Service personnel in the special operation. A submachine-gun, a Makarov pistol and cartridges were found in the flat where the gunmen were staying.

At present, an investigation team and sappers are working at the site of the incident.

Criminal proceedings were instituted.
