Medvedev thanks Russia football team for play at Euro-2008
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has thanked the Russian football national team, their head coach Guus Hiddink and the whole coaching staff for the worthy performance at the Euro-2008 championship.
According to president’s press secretary Natalya Timakova, Medvedev noted that thanks to Russian football players the country could enjoy joyful minutes of victory. “We had an opportunity to watch beautiful football we have been long expecting from our players,” Timakova quoted the president.
