Russia's Chakvetadze, Kuznetsova reach last 16 at Wimbledon
Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova and Anna Chakvetadze both enjoyed straight-sets victories Friday in the third round of the prestigious Wimbledon tennis tournament.
Kuznetsova, seeded 4, beat Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-4, while Chakvetadze (8) defeated her compatriot Yevgeniya Rodina 6-4, 6-3.
Kuznetsova will now face Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska (14), who secured a birth in the fourth round by beating another Russian, Anastasiya Pavlyuchenkova, 6-3, 6-2.
