A calf injury has forced Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova out of Saturday's semifinal match at the Italian Open with defending champion Jelena Jankovic.
The injury happened while Sharapova was warming up for the match.
In Sunday's final, Jankovic will now meet either sixth-seeded Anna Chakvetadze or Frenchwoman Alize Cornet. The pair were due to play later today.
