Russia's Medvedev to meet with British PM at G8 summit in Japan
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown agreed during a phone conversation Sunday on preparing a bilateral meeting at the G8 summit in Japan, the Kremlin press office said.

Medvedev was inaugurated as Russia's third president since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 on Wednesday, taking over from Vladimir Putin, who was approved as the country's premier by parliament on Thursday.
