Six police injured in south Russia rocket attack
Six officers of a special purpose police unit have been injured in a rocket attack in Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Ingushetia, a local police source said on Thursday.

Unidentified assailants fired rockets at a police base on the outskirts of the town of Karabulak from a nearby forest at 11:37 p.m. Moscow time (8:37 p.m. GMT) on Wednesday.

One of the rockets hit the house of a local resident.

Police returned fire, and a local resident was subsequently detained on suspicion of involvement in the attack, the source said.
