The Russian presidential election turnout exceeded 60% as of 7:00 p.m. Moscow time, Central Elections Commission member Yelena Dubrovina said.
In her words, the turnout was higher than 70% in Tyva, the Khabarovsk territory, Tatarstan, the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district, Altai, the Omsk, Tyumen and Kemerovo regions.
“Almost in every region, the turnout was higher than in the State Duma elections. Nevertheless, Ingushetia showed a smaller turnout, about 70%,” she said in reply to an Itar-Tass question.
