The exhibition of paintings of Russian and French painters of the late 19th and the early 20th century from the collections of four Russian museums will open in London on January 22, Irina Antonova, the general director of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, said.
"The press presentation of the exhibition took place today (January 22). The interest to our exhibition was very high; there were a lot people. The opening will take place today at 7.30 p.m. London time (10.30 p.m. Moscow time)," Antonova told Interfax.
Twenty-four paintings from the Pushkin museum will be shown at the London exhibition. Others are paintings from the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and the Hermitage, she said.
