Russia pays debts to IMF
Russia has paid EUR22.373m in debts to the International Monetary Fund today. This is the first payment this month and it has been made in accordance with the payment schedule. On the whole, Russia is to make four payments totaling about USD151m (100m SDRs) in December. According to the schedule, money will be transferred on December 17, 27 and 29.

      Russia has paid about USD1.6bn to the IMF this year. On the whole, Russia is to pay about USD1.7bn (1.2bn SDRs). Russias debt to the IMF amounted to about $5.1bn on January 1, 2004.
