No legal grounds to cancel Ukraine poll results
Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich who was announced president-elect of the country by the Central Election Commission (CEC) on November 24 sees no legal grounds for cancelling the election results.

Yanukovich made the corresponding statement at a meeting President Leonid Kuchma held with heads of several regions on Monday.

However, Yanukovich did not rule out a possibility of holding a revote of the second round of the presidential election as a compromise with the opposition.
