A high-profile Serbian delegation is coming to Moscow on Sunday
A high-profile Serbian delegation headed by Patriarch Pavel and President of the country Boris Tadic is coming to Moscow on Sunday for a three-day visit. Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II will meet the Serbian guests at the airport.

"The Serbian leaders will come to Russia to participate in the charity spiritual music concert Together With Serbia, an international event of Orthodoxys solidarity with the people of Serbia and Montenegro. The concert will be held late November 15 in the Clergy Conventions Hall of the Christ the Savior Cathedral," the International Foundation for Unity of Orthodox Peoples, who is the sponsor of the concert, told RIA Novosti.

to Serbias problems and help rebuild Kosovo-based shrines and finalize the St. Sabba (Serbs saint patron) Church in Belgrade. This church has been built since 1932 and has become the symbol of Serbian revival," the spokesperson for the Foundation said.

The following day Patriarch Alexy II will officially meet with Patriarch Pavel, President Tadic, and other members of the Serbian delegation. Bilateral clergy policies and problems of Orthodoxy in the Balkans will probably be on the table of the meeting.

On the same day Patriarch Pavel will decorate Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov with the Order of St. Sabba, the highest award of the Serbian Orthodox Church, for his support of the Serbs, especially of Kosovo residents.

In the morning November 16, Patriarch Pavel will deliver a church service in the St. Peter and Pauls Church near the Yauzkiye Vorota Square in Moscow. The heads of the Russian and Serbian Orthodox Churches will open the Faith and Word international festival of Orthodox media in the Clergy Conventions Hall of the Christ the Savior Cathedral.

During their visit to Moscow, the Serbian President and Patriarch will also meet with Russian statesmen, businessmen, and civil activists.

Other members of the Serbian delegation are Metropolitan of Montenergo and Serbian Maritime Area Amphilochy, Bishop of Rash and Prizren Artemy, Serbias Minister of Religion, Minister of Culture, Mayor of Belgrade, and other clergy, state, business, and culture figures.
