Gazprom and the Indian state-owned company GAIL are planning to sign a cooperation agreement. According to the press service of the Russian gas holding, Gazprom head Alexey Miller met with Indian Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar and GAIL Managing Director Proshanto Banerjee in Moscow today. The sides discussed prospects of cooperation in the development of oil and gas resources as well as gas transportation in India. Participants of the meeting agreed to prepare a cooperation accord between Gazprom and GAIL.
