	Russia to appropriate 3 billion rubles to fight terror - PM

The Russian government plans to appropriate 3 billion rubles before the end of the year to finance urgent steps to fight terrorism, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said while opening a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

"I believe this money will be used speedily and effectively," he said.
